You can run webrings on Bear now
The new release of Octothorpe Protocol includes the ability to make and manage webrings just by adding some basic HTML to your page.
This site is part of the official OP dev webring.
It joined it just by adding an octothorped link to it. The home page of the webring octothorped to this page, which makes the links into backlinks. Any backlinked page to a webring home page becomes part of that webring. It's that simple. Here's what it looks like on our end:
<a rel="octo:octothorpes" href="https://docs.octothorp.es/dev-webring">OP dev webring.</a>
Look! I can even use a simple web component to get a little webring navigator.
If you want to get into greater detail, you can watch one get made and used as an API filter in this video.
